President:
Farida Muthi
Farida Muthi is the President and
founder of Femo Enterprises,
and exotic Ice Cream, a trendy and mouth-watering South Asian flavors
and sensations. She started her business at home and now its
distribution has grown up to numerous restaurants and events in Southern
California. Also, she started her new venture Femo Snack Bar in Artesia, CA. Ms.
Muthi received Master’s Degree in Psychology
from University of Bombay, India. She is very active in business
community and represents many local and national trade organizations.
Ms. Muthi is an Entrepreneurs Award winner of O.C. Asian Business Assoc.
in 2003.

Ranjit Salgoanker
Ranjit
Salgoanker is a businessman and entrepreneurs over fifteen years.
Currently, he is working with Building Net – a visual wireless
company, ASGI – worldwide fund raising for global causes, and Fintec
– a commercial financial institute.
Mr. Salgoanker has degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical
College in London, England. He is associated with numerous non-profit
organizations to enrich the community.

Max Sivaprakasam
Max Sivaprakasam founded the
Sivaprakasam Insurance Agency in 1994.
Being a financial advisor by profession, he also continued
education in finance and completed his Master's in Finance from University
of California, Riverside, CA. Last three years he has been awarded
Champion for Auto Insurance by Farmers Insurance. Mr. Sivaprakasam is current
(2006) treasurer of Kiwanis Club, San Bernardino, CA., and member of
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Indo-American Chambers, Inland Empire,
CA. Also, he is founding member of US Bangladesh Business Forum.

Mr. Yasin Chowdhury Yasin
Chowdhury and his family operate dry cleaning plants and agencies since 1991, in the South Bay area of Los Angeles
County. An immigrant from Bombay, India, he has business background
of manufacturing, construction and international transactions. Also, he
is an experienced venture capitalist and pioneer of innovative ideas.
Mr. Chowdhury and his family live in the city of Torrance, California.

successful, Mr. Veera serves numerous local and national
organizations. He is the recipient of

Recognition City of Pasadena, Special Congressional, and Commendation
from Dist. Attorney of Los Angeles, CA.

Smita Baweja, Insurance Broker
Smita Baweja
is an exclusive insurance agent of Farmer’s Insurance, in
Duarte, CA. She has fifteen years of financial and real estate
experience. Ms. Baweja
has degree from St.
Joseph’s College, Karachi, Pakistan. She has awarded Million Dollar
Producer in Sales and top insurance sales person several times. Also,
she sits on the board of Directors of COPAA, Women’s League of
Pasadena, member of Kiwanis Club, and represent other community
organizations.

Shameem Merchant, Attorney
Shameem Merchant is the owner of Merchant Law Firm. An
attorney practicing immigration Law in Los Angeles and Orange
County offices. He completed his Bachelor Degree at Duke University

event and activities. Mr. Merchant lives in Los Angeles, CA.
