WHAT
IS SABAN?
SABAN, SOUTH ASIAN BUSINESS ALLIANCE NETWORK, is a pro business and networking group. It was created in 1998 to promote and develop a pro-business and pro-networking environment by organizing business events and activities for South Asian owned and represented, small to large businesses in the United States OUR MISSIONWe, at the SABAN, SOUTH ASIAN BUSINESS ALLIANCE NETWORK, are dedicated to create business opportunity, communication, and prosperity of South Asians residing in the United States of America to enhance and preserve the quality of our lives and heritage.

HOW CAN SABAN BENEFIT ME? Countless ways, depending
upon what you want! There are
tangible and intangible rewards for the participants of SABAN. Perhaps the most
tangible is communication, marketing, advertising, networking of your business.
Furthermore, be able to aware of business opportunities, assistance,
inter-cultural understanding, sharing expertise, business and personal
enrichment, and community interests. Most importantly, SABAN will give you the
business exposure in the community and mainstream through a wide range of events
and activities. You can stay up to date by joining and receiving important updates and announcements - we even send out special "save the date magnets" that will help you stay informed!

WHO
CAN JOIN SABAN?
Anybody, especially individuals or groups of South Asian origin (i.e., Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Mal Dives) engaged in business or representing a business with a goal to promote and develop the South Asian businesses, can join the SABAN as an ASSOCIATES Member. An ASSOCIATE MEMBER participates and enjoys all the activities, programs, and the benefit of SABAN. WHAT’RE THE CURRENT PROGRAMS? BizNet:To promote a networking program for new and
continuing business owners and professionals.
BizMixer:
To promote & build communication & networking.
BizExpo:
To organize South Asian business expo for the community, the mainstream,
and the global perspective.
Directory:To
develop a business directory of South Asians.
Seminars:
To hold business seminars and workshops on business issues.
WHAT’S OUR LONG TERM PLAN? We plan to support and organize business events and projects to benefit the community. Such projects and institutes may include Chamber of Commerce, Credit and Lending Institute, Metro Center, Shopping Center, and Investment and economic development projects. WHO RUNS THE ORGANIZATION? Currently, it’s a
non-profit mutual benefit Corporation in the State of California. The Board of
Directors elect a committee of Board
of Directors and Officers annually
to oversee the plan, policy and procedures, and daily activities of SABAN. Also,
SABAN has an advisory committee to advice on a voluntary basis. If you are
